This event provides an opportunity for City of Newport residents to recycle the “harder to recycle” items. This year’s event will include opportunities to recycle: E-Waste, Paper Shredding, Rigid Plastic, Metal, Clothing/Textiles, and Cooking Oil. There will also be an opportunity for Newport residents to take advantage of a bulky waste amnesty (limit two bulky waste items per household). This will be the only City-sponsored recycling event held this year.
